Disney!

MAGIC KINGDOM

We're here!
The crowd thinned out quite a bit once we moved off of Main Street.

Photo spot.
Everyone must stop and take picture in front of the castle.
And there must be at least one photo with the ears.
Here's a photo from inside Space Mountain.
We rode it twice! Yes, I rode the roller coasters, too!

EPCOT

We are waiting outside our hotel for our boat shuttle to take us to Epcot.

Just as one must take a photo in front of the castle at Magic Kingdom and
a photo wearing mouse ears,
one must also take at least one photo with a character.
So here it is . . . .

Brett made sure he told Chip
(or maybe it was Dale)
that his mother made him do this.

Our favorite rides at Epcot were
Soarin', Test Track
(twice) and Mission Space.
On Mission Space, we opted for a
"less intense galactic adventure" on the Green Team.

We were at Epcot for the
International Flower and Garden Festival.
What a treat. There were flowers everywhere, and they were gorgeous!

At the France Pavilion in the World Showcase, there was an exhibit where you could smell different French perfumes and see the flowers that were used to make them.
It was one of the last things we did before leaving Epcot.

Brett was inspired to make this short movie.

"And now our "scent" imental journey comes to an end."

A Very Happy Mother's Day

Yesterday was a great day. My sweet boys showered me with attention. The youngest one gave me the gift of finishing his weekend homework before we went to church that morning. I lost count of how many times he hugged me and told me he loved me. I am so blessed! I also got to have lunch with my own sweet mom, and during lunch, I found out about another wonderful surprise.

Miss Kelsey McDonald invited me to share in her gift to her mother by inviting me to the Selah concert. (Since I recently learned that it's really all about the links, I want to make sure I add one when possible,) Erica and Peyton also went. Peyton was such a trooper. He almost made it through the whole concert.

The concert was awesome. The three members of this trio are truly blessed with talent. Of course, the highlight was their last and probably most well know song, "You Raise Me Up."

Thank you, Kelsey!

But wait, there's more . . .

Just when I thought my special day couldn't get any better, my sweet girls gave me this beautiful cross. It will be a wonderful addition to my collection!

Thank you, Kelly and Lauren!

A Moment of Praise

No new photos to post,
just something that has been on my heart today . . .

Psalm 139

O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.

You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"
even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
